and certificate/credential programs, CI offers opportunities
for members of the community to take courses for their
own enjoyment and enrichment on flexible schedules-
from customized workplace training to Open University

4. LIVE HERE. University Glen offers state-of-the-art
homes for rent and sale in a picturesque and tranquil
setting at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains and
within a short walk to campus.
5. LISTEN HERE. CI hosts hundreds of speakers,
concerts, performances and symposiums each
year that are open to the public. Many are free. In 2012,
speakers and performers ranged from actor/comedian
Cheech Marin to acclaimed author Dr. Gregory Williams
to Beatles cover band Paperback Writer. Keep an eye on

6. SING HERE. More than of the CSU Channel Islands Choir
is composed of community members. The weekly class
meets Monday evenings and performs throughout the

7. APPRECIATE ART HERE. The Art Gallery at Napa Hall
on the CI campus and exhibition galleries in the John
Spoore Library and downtown Camarillo showcase the
work of internationally, nationally,and regionally recognized
artists, as well as the work of faculty and students.

8. JOIN A FAMILY HERE. You don't need to be a CI graduate
to become part of our Alumni & Friends Association.
