Director of Academic Advising
Sue Saunders is the Director of Academic Advising and Learning Support Services and has been with the Channel Islands campus since March 2000. Before arriving at CI, Sue had worked in the educational field for more than 20 years. She was the founding member of the Advising Center and with a lot of hard work, turned a concept into a reality for students who need assistance. Her office is located on the first floor of the Bell Tower. Her passion is student-centered advising, and she — along with her staff — is committed to providing quality advising services to all undergraduate students.
Beth has worked at CI since December 2007. She has worked in the public sector for almost 25 years including 10 years as a 911 dispatcher. She enjoys helping students, staff and visitors find what they are looking for on campus. When she’s not on campus she enjoys spending time at the beach, exercising with her Xbox Kinect, reading, traveling or just kicking back listening to music. She also considers herself a lifelong learner so you may see her in one of your classes.
