Before joining CSUCI, Priscilla Liang taught finance for six years at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino. She is passionate about teaching and cares about students. In 2006 she was named the outstanding advisor at Cal Poly Pomona.

Dr. Liang completed her B.S. at Beijing Normal University, China, an MBA in Finance at Cal Poly Pomona, and Ph.D. in Financial Economics at Claremont Graduate University.  Her research focuses on behavioral finance and international finance, in particular, the development of emerging financial markets and global portfolio management. She recently has discovered her new interest in studying capital structure of multinational corporations and behavioral theory based mergers and acquisitions.

Dr. Liang had worked in industry for six years before pursuing her academic career. She has extensive experience in international business, emerging markets investment, and real estate development in China. She is actively involved in campus outreach and business education, such as training the Chinese CEO program in the California State University system.

Except teaching, her other love is her daughter. If she still has time left, she enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities and Salsa dancing.
