Inaugural Dinner Party at the Castle Kashan in Malibu

The Alzheimer's Institute inaugural dinner party was well attended by CSUCI faculty and staff. The Channel Islands Alzheimer's Institute is supported by area Alzheimer's organizations, including the Alzheimer's Association, AWARE and the Motion Picture & Television Hospital; Betty Summer, AWARE; Sue Tatangelo, Alzheimer's Association; and Sue Lindermann, Aware.

Malibu residents also joined the effort to help fight Alzheimer's disease. CSUCI Provost and Vice President Ted Lucas introduces the Channel Islands Alzheimer's Institute to the guests. Lucas also performed at the event with a string quartet on the terrace of the Castle.	Entertainment for the evening also included drummers Xavier Eikerenkoetter and David Comfort of the Malibu-based Ravendrum Foundation.
