CSUCI has an Academic Master Plan (AMP) (PDF, 206KB) to develop several new baccalaureate, master and doctorate degrees over the next 5 years. Simultaneously, and to underline our campus commitment to continuous improvement and offering high quality programs to our students, the current programs and courses continue to be assessed, reviewed and modified as per campus, CSU and state policies and requirements.

The CSU policies and requirements for program development are provided through the Chancellor's Office academic programs page. Specific information can be found to develop a new program, and to modify an existing program. The general CSU workflow (PDF, 173KB) for new programs is provided here (PDF, 173KB). CI's general review workflow is given by SP-08-02 Exhibit 1 (PDF, 561KB), and is under review by APPC.

All program development at CI is submitted through Curriculog. Before submitting a proposal, it is strongly advised to make yourself familiar with the information necessary to submit in advance. Authors need to familiarize themselves with the process and timelines (PDF, 2.5MB), as well as general guidelines for curriculum development (PDF, 1.5MB), to ensure strong, successful proposals.

Current CSUCI Academic Programs Learning Outcomes are compile here (PDF, 211KB)

PDFs of the current Curriculog forms with the necessary fields are provided below for author's preparation:

Timelines for each specific process will be published shortly, upon approval by APPC.

Campus specific timelines for Fall 2024 and 2025 implementation of new programs already in the AMP

Additional campus specific information is being developed to include campus policies and requirements and will be added to this site October 2023.
