Re-order and Freeze/Unfreeze Columns
**Note: Grade Center columns can be frozen. Frozen columns remain in place on the left side of the Grade Center and they do not move while the rest of the columns can be scrolled across horizontally. Frozen column helps instructors easily identify individual students with their scores across the length of the Grade Center. Grade Center allows instructors to freeze and unfreeze any of the columns in the Grade data page.
To re-order or freeze/unfreeze a column:
- Click the Manage link
- Select "Organize Grade Center"
- Place the cursor over the gray box on the left hand side of the screen (to the left of the checkbox)
- Drag an item of the column and drop it to a desired location
- To drag and drop an item:
- Hold down the left mouse button and drag the item to a new position in the list
- Release the mouse button when it is in the desired position
- Items placed above the dark bar are frozen while items underneath are not
