New Interface of Grade Center
In Blackboard 8, Grade Center has been updated to a new interface
- Add Grade Column: a gradable item in the course
- Add Calculated Column: a weighted grade or average / total on a set of grades
- Mange: Customize the grade center by adding categories, Smart Views, Grading periods and Ggrading schemas
- Email: Allows instructors to email students regarding the grades with 1 action
- Reports: Generate reports on individual or many students using Grade Center data
- Grade History: Show history of grade changes
- Icon Legend: Click on the Icon Legend link and the explanations will pop-up

Interactive / Non-interactive View:
Interactive view allows the entering and editing of grades as well as freezing and
unfreezing columns. 
The non-interactive view is designed for accessibility and accessible by screen readers
but it displays the data with no inline editing no freezing/ unfreezing of columns.
