Creating Accessible Powerpoint Presentations Using Virtual508 and MS Office 2007

To create an accessible Powerpoint presentation using Virtual508:
- Open your Powerpoint presentation
- From the home tab, click the Check Accessibility button at the top right of the screen
- A window will appear if you have not perviously entered a product code. If you have a product code, enter it at this window. If you do not, click "Continue Trial Period"
- On the right side of the screen a panel will appear
- At the top of this panel there will be a bar indicating the amount of errors found within the presentation
- Towards the bottom of the panel there is a "fix it" section that guides you through fixing various errors
- When you are done fixing errors, the bar at the top of the panel should say "No Problems Left"
- After fixing any problems in the presentation, click "Publish As XHTML" next to the Check Accessibility button you click previously
- If you have not entered a product code, the window from step 3 will appear again. Click "Continue Trial Period"
- Choose whether you want the file outputted as an HTML file or as a .zip archive
- Click Browse...
- Navigate to where you want the file saved
- Enter a name for the file and then click Save
- Click Finish
- Your file has now been outputted as an accessible HTML file containing your presentation for viewing in a browser
