How to upload PowerPoint presentation into Blackboard from PC or Mac

- Save your PowerPoint presentation into webpage
- File-> save as webpage
- Click Publish button to a location in your computer, such as desktop -> you will get one html file and a folder with the same name
- Create a single zip file for your PowerPoint presentation
- Create a new folder and named it (such as: my_presentation)-> drag and drop the html file the folder into my_presentation folder
- For window XP users, Right click on the folder -> Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder
- For Mac users, Control click or left click on the folder
- Now click Create Archive of “file name”
- A zip file should appear
- A my_presentation.zip file has been created
- Login to your Blackboard course and select Control Panel
- Select the location you’d like to upload your PowerPoint presentation under Content Areas
- Select Add Items
- Under Item Information, type in a Name for the document
- Under Attach local files, click browse button to locate the zipped PowerPoint file you just created on your computer, and then click Open
- Type a name in the box of Name of Link to File (This name should be the link that students will click on to view the presentation)
- In the Special Action drop down menu, choose the Unpackage this file.
- At the bottom of the screen, select Submit
- At Entry Point window, choose the file with the name of your presentation name. htm. For example, “presentation.htm”
- Click on the Submit button
