Adding a Certifcate Exception

Sometimes when you try to access the Blackboard login page from CSUCI's home page, you will be greeted by a screen similar to the following:

This page is displayed if you have not previously added the Blackboard certificate as an exception to your computer.  However, it is a very easy fix.

To navigate to the Blackboard page from here:

• Click the "Or you can add an exception..." link at the bottom of the warning.
  
• On the following screen, click the "Get Certificate" button
  
• Next, go ahead and click the button that says "Add Exception."
• Now click on the button that says "Confirm Security Exception."

After this, you should be able to go to the Blackboard login page with no problems
