Online Quiz Issues Using Internet Explorer 8.0 as Browser
There have been reports of having problems taking a timed quiz in Internet Explorer 8.0. The problem that has been brought to our attention is that when a quiz with a timer is opened in Internet Explorer 8, the timer box covered up half of the page so that students are unable to save questions or submit their quizzes.

Solutions
- Use an earlier version of Internet Explorer; the problem is not present using Internet Explorer 7 or 6. Download Internet Explorer 7

Use an alternate browser such as Firefox. Firefox 3.0 has also been tested for this problem and has no issues with the timer on quizzes in Blackboard. Download Firefox
