BAND BIOS

Dan Murphy
Dan Murphy has been a Professor of Music at the University of Redlands since 1993,
Murphy's university bands have performed with many well known jazz artists including Dave Brubeck,
Bill Watrous, John Clayton, Bobby Shew, Jimmy Smith, Gerald Wilson, Bob Mintzer, Jim Walker,
John Clayton, Anthony Wilson, Bobby Rodriguez, Denny Zeirlin, and Peter Erskine.
Dan has recorded for PBS television specials as keyboardist/ accompanist in the
back up bands for The Fifth Dimension, B.J. Thomas, Lulu, Lenny Welch, The Four Aces
The Ink Spots, Patti Page, and Joan Rivers, to name a few.

Joel Taylor
Joel Taylor is on the short list of drummers for legendary producers
David Foster and Peter Wolf. He has performed on numerous film, tv,
and video game soundtracks including Gran Torino, Anchorman,
Witches of Waverly Place (The Movie), Hannah Montana, and Jonas Brothers.
He is also featured on over 100 of the drum tracks for the award winning, multi-platinum,
Guitar Hero II, III, Rock the 80's and Rock Band video games.

Tim Emmons
Tim Emmons is an active freelance musician in the Los Angeles area
and a veteran of over one hundred and fifty film and television scores including the
2010 Winter Olympics, Up, Star Trek XI, The Tale of Desperaux, Lost,
Battlestar Gallactica, Ratouille, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Mission Impossible III,
The Incredibles, The Day After Tomorrow, Something's Gotta Give, and The Wedding Planner
An eclectic musician, Tim has played Contrabass on recordings for Stevie Wonder and Beyonce,
Josh Groban, Justin Timberlake, Michael Buble, Kenny G, Andrea Boccelli,
Rufus Wainright, Brandy, John Tesh and Toni Braxton.

Paul Murphy
Paul Murphy has performed with a wide variety of artists since moving
to Los Angeles in 1989 including actors Whoopi Goldberg, Merv Griffin, Heather Locklear and Dennis Quaid,
jazz artists Kurt Elling, Pete Christlieb and Ted Greene television composers Chris Young, Richard Gibbs
and Ken Burgomaster and in theatre pit orchestras for Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar,
Grease, and Fame. Paul has recorded for the Television shows Hannah Montana
and The Muppets Show Tonight , the films The Big Kahuna, Wonder Boys, Hurricane, Garfield,
Hero Wanted, Two Guys Talking About A Girl, and Halloween High.
