Richard R. Rush
President, CSU Channel Islands
Richard R. Rush became the president of California State University Channel Islands in June 2001. As head of the 23rd and newest campus in the California State University system, Dr. Rush has hired the faculty and senior administrative staff and overseen the creation and development of the University's strategic, academic and physical master plans, the budget and financial structure, infrastructure and road improvements, the acquisition of adjacent land, as well as successfully leading the University's efforts to achieve Initial Accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Reid Dammann, Panelist

Reid Dammann is an attorney in the Los Angeles office of Musick, Peeler, & Garrett LLP practicing in the area of intellectual property and technology law. Mr. Dammann represents clients in the procurement and enforcement of intellectual property specifically in the areas of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret. Mr. Dammann's background in computer science and engineering add value to his ability to counsel clients in a wide range of technical matters, transactions, and disputes. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Central and Southern Districts of California; the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; United States Patent and Trademark Office Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences; and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Dammann has further represented clients before the National Arbitration Foundation in Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings.
Mark Levinson, Panelist

Mark Levinson has substantial experience in a broad range of corporate, securities, real estate and finance transactional work including municipal financings. He has documented public and private securities offerings, M&A and real estate acquisitions and dispositions, JV arrangements, loan restructurings, defaulted bond workouts, among other transactions. Mr. Levinson represents and provides legal services to a diverse collection of clients, including investment banks, PE firms, financial and educational institutions and companies involved in real estate. He also provides guidance to businesses on Securities Exchange Act reporting obligations and general corporate and contract matters. Mr. Levinson brings a practical business-oriented approach to his clients' challenges, focusing on accomplishing his clients' objectives effectively and efficiently.
President, Schultz Management Group (SMG)
James Schultz has served in executive, technical, sales, marketing and operations roles in various industries and at firms ranging in size from start-up to Fortune 500. His career began in the USAF as an AC-130 flight engineer and then as a civilian involved in our nation's military space program. There he served in operations and staff roles for programs including the military space shuttle, space defense systems (Star Wars) and MX missile and help make Navstar GPS a household name. Mr. Schultz was editor of Defense Electronics magazine, a VP at Whittaker Corporation, EVP at EOS Corporation, VP Engineering at MSC Software , VP/GM at Jabil Circuit Inc. & CEO of Red Rocket, Inc. He has managed small dedicated teams to large multi-nationals with engineering centers and factories in the US, Europe, and Asia and designing and building products for such firms as Apple, Dell, Cisco, Karl Storz, Medtronic, Lockheed, Boeing, GM and Ford. He was the VP Sales & Marketing at PBS Biotech, Camarillo which makes leading edge single-use bioreactors for the global biopharmaceutical market.
Mr. Schultz serves on numerous boards and organizations and help bring Junior Achievement to Ventura County. He has lived in Moorpark for the past 30 years and is married with four children and 2 grandchildren.
Robert W. Steenberge, Panelist
Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, Teledyne Technologies Incorporated
Bob Steenberge was appointed to the position of Chief Technical Officer of Teledyne Technologies in 2000, and became Vice President and Chief Technical Officer in 2006. In this position he is responsible for research and development, strategic planning, operational excellence and merger and acquisition activities. His recent activities have included strategic planning efforts for Teledyne's activities with digital imaging, underwater acoustic instrumentation, environmental and life science instruments, and defense electronic products. Mr. Steenberge joined Teledyne in 1976 and has held a series of senior technical and managerial positions.
Henry Dubroff, Moderator

Henry Dubroff is the founder and majority owner of Pacific Coast Business Times, the weekly business journal for Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo Counties. Pacific Coast Business Times celebrated its 11th anniversary in 2011 with two first place awards from the L A Press Club and a national Sigma Delta Chi Award for breaking news from the Society of Professional Journalists. Pacific Coast Business Times operates the web site pacbiztimes.com and produces eight business awards events, including Latino Business Awards and Champions in Health Care which will both debut in 2012. Mr. Dubroff also is a commentator on KCLU, the NPR station for the Central Coast and a regular contributor to the Sunday Denver Post Perspective section.
