Alumni Spirit: Keeping in touch with your University is just one of the benefits of being part of the Alumni & Friends Association at CSUCI. Join the Association for Dodger Night Sept. 20.

Groundbreaking Ceremony: Weather moved the groundbreaking ceremony for the Martin V. Smith Center for Integrative Decision-Making indoors, but enthusiasm for the new 4,187-square-foot space wasn’t dampened. The new building will be completed in 2009.

John Spoor Broome Library: The John Spoor Broome Library is officially open to the campus and surrounding communities. The new 137,000-square-foot building has traditional library offerings and many new featurescheck them out today!

Student Scholarships: Students shared their reasons to succeed after receiving scholarships at the Business & Technology Partnership Leadership Dinner in April. The scholarships are presented to students pursuing business or technology related majors.

Commencement 2008: More than 650 graduates participated in the 2008 Commencement ceremony and were congratulated with the thunderous applause and support of thousands of friends and family members who attended the event.

The Cove Bookstore: Looking for some CI spirit? Find it, along with books, at The Cove Bookstore. Visit its new location in Town Center, just a short walk from the Bell Tower and student housing.

Faculty: CSUCI faculty members are leaders in student-centered and cross-disciplinary learning. This unique approach to instruction emphasizes meeting the needs of each student and creating a multi-perspective learning environment.

Student Life: CSUCI students enjoy a campus that’s conducive for collaboration both inside and outside of the classroom. With renovated courtyards and a new library, there are many locations to meet, study, and succeed.

Island View Orientation: Incoming freshmen and transfer students are welcomed to campus each year at Island View Orientation. Students learn about CI, register for classes, and find out what its like to be part of the campus community.
