In some cases, students may have a private/full-service health insurance plan that can be used in the U.S., goes beyond basic “traveler’s insurance” for catastrophic injury and meets CSUCI’s minimum requirements.  Students with such a plan can apply for a waiver from CIA by submitting a copy of the proof of insurance and Certificate for Health Insurance form.
