International Students and Scholars
F-1 VISA (Degree Seeking Matriculated International Students)
Applications from international students are accepted for the following Graduate Programs:
- MS Biotechnology
- MS Computer Science
- MS Mathematics
- Dual Degree in MS Biotechnology and MBA

- CSUCI is currently accepting international students at the freshman level.
- CSUCI is currently accepting international undergraduate students who are attending
the following institutions on an F-1 visa:
- All US Community Colleges*
- All US Universities and Colleges*
*Students must have a minimum of 60 or more semester transferable units with a minimum 2.0 grade point average for Non-California residents in all transferable college units completed. Students must have completed the following classes with a grade of “C” or better:
- Oral communication
- Written communication
- Critical thinking
- College level mathematics/quantitative reasoning
The above courses must be completed from one of the above mentioned institutions.
J-1 VISA (International Exchange Students and Scholars)
CSUCI is now accepting international exchange students through the California State University (CSU) International Exchange Program. If you are interested in applying as an exchange student, please email email@example.com and write in the subject heading "exchange student".
CSUCI is currently sponsoring J-1 scholars through the J-1 Visa visitor program for some departments. Please contact Ms. Mayumi Kowta at firstname.lastname@example.org to request to be updated on the status of CSUCI's J-1 Visa Visitor Program. If you are sponsored through another organization on a J-1 Visa and would like to study at CSUCI, please contact Ms. Mayumi Kowta for more information.
