International Students and Scholars

F-1 VISA (Degree Seeking Matriculated International Students)

Graduate Applicants

Applications from international students are accepted for the following Graduate Programs:

• MS Biotechnology
• MS Computer Science
• MS Mathematics
• Dual Degree in MS Biotechnology and MBA

Undergraduate Applications

CSUCI is currently accepting international undergraduate students who are attending the following institutions on an F-1 visa:

• Moorpark Community College
• Oxnard College
• Santa Barbara City College
• Ventura College
• Santa Monica College
• Pierce College

Students must have a minimum of 60 or more semester transferable units with a minimum 2.4 grade point average for Non-California residents in all transferable college units completed.  Students must have completed the following classes with a grade of “C” or better:

• Oral communication
• Written communication
• Critical thinking
• College level mathematics/quantitative reasoning

The above courses must be completed from one of the above mentioned institutions.

J-1 VISA (International Exchange Students and Scholars)

Students

CSUCI is not currently accepting international exchange students through the California State University (CSU) International Exchange Program. If you are interested in applying as an exchange student and would like to be notified as to when applications will be accepted, please email international@csuci.edu and write in the subject heading "exchange student". You will receive more information by email when it becomes available.

Scholars

CSUCI is not currently sponsoring J-1 scholars through the J-1 Visa visitor program. Please contact Ms. Mayumi Kowta at mayumi.kowta@csuci.edu to request to be updated on the status of CSUCI's J-1 Visa Visitor Program. If you are sponsored through another organization on a J-1 Visa and would like to study at CSUCI, please contact Ms. Mayumi Kowta for more information.
