CMS First-Time Login Instructions
Summary
This document describes the steps
to take during the first login to
the myCSUCI/Peoplesoft system to
properly configure your user account.
Step-by-Step Process
- In your web browser, Go to http://my.csuci.edu
- Enter you Peoplesoft UserName
and password.
- Now, you must configure your
security question and response.
This will allow you to reset your
password
yourself in the future.
- First, select the "PeopleTools"
link.
- Next, select the "Maintain Security"
link.
- Then select the "Use" link.
- Finally, select the "My Profile"
link.
- Now, select the "Change or set
up forgotten password help" link
- Next, type in a security Question
and provide a Response. CSUCI
provides no prepared questions;
you may provide any question and
response that you care to, such as
"What is the name of my favorite
pet?" or "What city was I born
in?"
- Once you have entered the desired
information, select the "OK" button.
- You will now have returned to
the "My Profile" page.
- Next, please verify that the
email address listed in the "Email
Address" field is correct. This
is the email address where your
password information will be sent.
If it is not correct, please enter
the correct email address.
- Finally, select the "Save" button
to save your forgotten password
help and email changes.
- Your account setup is now complete.
You may now log off the myCSUCI/PeopleSoft
system
if
desired.
