WHAT IS REQUIRED TO APPLY
Send a two page summary in text (word or other) or a PowerPoint package that covers the concept, the medical/biotech applications of the invention, the results obtained thus far. If you have applied for a patent let us know.
We also appreciate any information you may have accumulated already regarding anticipated regulatory pathway (510(k) vs. PMA, etc.), market analysis if done, and plan for commercializing the product.

Projects will be selected from the submissions based on:

The ability to address a real clinical or biotech need

Its contribution to human health or quality of life

Its novelty (no patent infringement, freedom to operate)

Its potential for commercialization

The scope of the work required to develop a business plan (needs to fit within course duration)
