This initiative is sponsored by the California State University Channel Island Biomedical Incubator Center. There is no fee for submitting innovations.  The innovators who are selected for the initiative will receive a business analysis and business plan.

The CSUCI Biotech Incubator will select a small number of proposals from the Ventura Community to be part of course study from the MS in Biotechnology and MBA Dual Degree Program from CSUCI.   A business strategy and business plans will be developed for the innovators.  The work will be performed by students and Professional advisors.  CSUCI faculty will oversee the work.

The business analysis and plan will be delivered to the innovators for a fee of $6,900.  However, one especially promising proposal chosen by the Advisory group will be awarded the service free of charge.

The call for innovations is open until April 30, 2008.  

The MS in Biotechnology & MBA is an innovative dual degree program offered by CSU Channel Islands to meet the regional and national needs of a well-educated workforce in the biotechnology industry.
