Who teaches these courses?

Courses are taught by CSU Channel Islands full- and part-time faculty.  Additionally, part-time faculty will be hired as needed in certain content areas where expertise is needed. 

Will financial aid apply for these courses?

Students may be eligible to receive financial aid for online courses.  Contact the Financial Aid office to determine your own eligibility.

Will these courses count towards a degree?

Yes.  All the courses are for undergraduate and graduate degree credit.  The official transcript will be the same for online courses as for regular face-to-face courses.  

Are there any restrictions?

Because of both federal financial aid and WASC restrictions, no student will be allowed to take more than 49% of their course work in an online format.  In the future, this restriction may be lifted.
