University's Highest Priority Needs
University's Highest Priority Needs
This fund provides resources to address CI's areas of greatest need. Examples of uses of the fund include scholarships, faculty and staff awards, capital projects, targeted academic disciplines, and programs and activities to enhance the University's commitment to meeting the needs of its constituents. The Highest Priority Needs fund also supports emerging, unbudgeted projects for which state funding and other resources are insufficient.
Examples of what the fund provides:
- The first CI students scholarships
- Support for the Campus Reading Celebration
- New computers for a heavily used student computer lab
- Funds for staff development
- Book awards for students needing assistance to purchase text books
