Fall 2015 Payment Deadlines- Returning Residents

***We have currently reached our bed space capacity for Returning Residents and current CI Student Non-Residents for 2015-16. Applications received after April 17, 2015 will be placed on a waiting list for Student Housing accommodations. For applicants who wish to remain on the waitlist, the completion date of your student housing application (including deposit payment and/or fee deferral) will serve as your priority date on the waitlist. Should you wish to remain on the waitlist, cancellation deadlines and fee penalties will apply as outlined in the license agreement (section 7). However, daily rental fees for cancellations after July 22 will not accrue until after a student is notified that they are guaranteed a room assignment. We do not expect to provide an update of space availability until after August 1, 2015. Updates will be communicated (as they become available) directly to students on the waiting list. 

Option 1: Pay in Full

  • $1,500 deposit (or fee deferral documentation) due ASAP to complete your application 
  • August 18, 2015: Remaining fall semester balance due 
  • January 12, 2016: Spring semester balance due 

Option 2: Installment Payment Plan (IPP)*

  • $1,500 deposit (or fee deferral documentation) due ASAP to complete your application 
  • August 18: First of three fall semester payments due
  • September 18: Second of three fall semester payments due
  • October 18: Final payment due for fall semester 
  • Spring 2016 payments: January 12, February 12, March 12, & April 12

* Students who have submitted their Student Housing License Agreement and want to pay room and board fees in more than one installment per semester must request a Housing IPP. Housing IPPs are not automatic and must be requested online via the student’s myCI account each semester. This request must be completed prior to the payment deadline for room and board fees. The IPP divides the remaining balance due for room and board into the specified number of equal installments. 

Spring 2016 Payment Deadlines - Returning Residents 

Option 1: Pay in Full 

  • January 12: Semester balance due in full 

Option 2: Installment Payment Plan (IPP)*

  • January 12: First of four payments due 
  • February 12: Second of four payments due 
  • March 12: Third of four payments due 
  • April 12: Final payment due 

Option 3: Financial Aid

    • Full Financial Aid: If you have confirmed enough financial aid to cover room, board, tuition, and fees, then your financial aid will cover all spring charges. Your financial aid must be settled and confirmed by January 12, 2016 in order to avoid out-of-pocket payment for this payment deadline. 
Partial Financial Aid:
    If you are receiving some financial aid, but not enough to cover all spring charges for room, board, tuition, and fees, our options are: 
    • Payment in Full: On January 12, 2016, all fees unpaid by Financial Aid are due no later than 5 p.m.; or 
    • Installment Payment Plan: As soon as possible, but no later than January 12, 2016, you must request the HIPP via your myCI account and make payment towards the first installment payment and the $33 nonrefundable processing fee to use the payment plan no later than 5 PM. 

Spring 2016 Payment Deadlines - Incoming Residents
