Welcome to CSU Channel Islands! We are pleased to have you join us and hope you will find your experience here rewarding! We want to make your transition into your new position as smooth as possible. As a new member of our campus, or if you are returning, there are several things you need to be aware of to ensure we are able to properly establish you in our payroll system. Who is considered a New Staff/Faculty Employee?
You are required to sign new employee paperwork in the Human Resources office:
- If you are new to CSU Channel Islands (even if you currently work for another CSU Campus), or
- If your previous employment at this campus ended more than three years ago, or
- If you previously held a Student Assistant, or University Glen/ Auxiliary position and are transitioning to a campus staff or faculty position
