To receive a Dolphin User Name, a student must:
Once you have completed these two steps, you will be mailed a letter containing your Dolphin User Name and Student ID number.
Once your receive your Dolphin User Name, you must activate your Dolphin Account before you can use it to access myCI and other IT systems at CSUCI.
Your Dolphin User Name is in the format: firstname.lastnameXXX, where XXX is a 3-digit number. For example, a student named Pat Richards might have the Dolphin User Name pat.richards123.
If you have never used your Dolphin Password before: you must activate your Dolphin Account before you can use myCI and other IT systems at CSUCI.
If you forgot your current password: go to the Dolphin Password Reset page.
Students receive their Student ID number in a letter (via postal mail) once they have been admitted to CSUCI and have filed an "Intent to Enroll" form with Admissions.
Your student ID Number is the 9-digit number, which is also located on the front of your student ID card in the bottom-left corner, right below your name. Please view the following example:

Your email address is your Dolphin user name + "@dolphin.csuci.edu". For example, a student named Pat Richards with the Dolphin User Name pat.richards123 would have the Dolphin email address pat.richards123@dolphin.csuci.edu. Please visit the Email page for more help.
