(m) Applets, plug-ins and external content

  • If your web page requires other software to view the content, you must provide a link to the software

  • The content that you link to must pass §508

  • The software that you link to must also pass §508!

    • i.e., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer all need to be inherently accessible.
