How to fix:

• Ensure the file formats you are using are accessible

• Most reputable software companies will provide instructions/tutorials on making accessible documents (Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, etc.)

• Provide links to the software used to view/read the document

• Good practice: also provide file size of external content

  • Example: CSUCI 2005 Catalog (PDF, 2.1MB)

  • “PDF” describes document type and links to Acrobat

  • “2.1MB” describes size of the PDF file & download time
