President's Message - Milestones Reached
On October 1, 2001, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges granted California State University Channel Islands eligibility status in the first step toward full accreditation.
New University Library To Be Created - Local Rancher Provides $5 Million Gift
CSUCI will begin work on a university library thanks to an extraordinary gesture of support by Oxnard rancher John S. Broome. The library will eventually serve upwards of 17,000 students, faculty and staff.
