Constitutionally Speaking
In recognition of National Constitution Day, Kenneth Starr, dean of the Pepperdine
University School of Law and former federal appeals court judge, solicitor general
of the United States, and Whitewater independent counsel, was the featured speaker
in an event on campus which celebrated the day. Starr emphasized to students and faculty
that checks and balances and separation of powers are what make the Constitution an
effective, living document.
