Apply to be an Orientation Leader!

Letter from the Coordinator

Dear Prospective Orientation Leader:

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the 2017 Island View Orientation Leadership Team. Orientation is an exciting time on any college campus and serving as an Orientation Leader (OL) is a unique and rewarding opportunity.

Orientation is the first introduction an entering student has to his/her new collegiate life. It plays a critical role in the transition process and can dramatically impact a student’s college career through engagement, involvement and excitement. As you will hear from previous team members, being a part of the OL team is an experience full of growth, learning and fun. We look forward to getting to know you and working together to make the class of 2021’s introduction to our great University an enjoyable and engaging experience.

Please read all of the information on our recruitment pages carefully and thoroughly. Additionally, it is important you become familiar with and review the mission and goals of the Division of Student Affairs, the purpose and aims of Orientation Programs and the Dimensions of Development. If you have any questions regarding this application or positions, please contact the New Student, Orientation and Transition Programs office at 805-437-3160 or orientation@csuci.edu. We look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,

Ariana Robles
