The 2012 Welcome Celebration honors the
10th Anniversary of CI:
“A Decade of Distinction”
California State University Channel Islands is hosting our Annual Welcome Celebration on Sunday, August 26, 2012, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m. This year the campus is celebrating 10 years of CI as “a Decade of Distinction.”
The annual Welcome Celebration is a free, annual event for new and returning students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff of the CI campus community to celebrate the start of a new academic year. This event continues to be a highlight each year and as we celebrate 10 years of CI, we are inviting the community to attend and enjoy a variety of family activities, food and entertainment.

Ten Years of Island View Orientation
New Student, Orientation and Transition Programs is inviting orientation leaders from
the past 10 years to join in the festivities. This year’s Welcome Celebration will
be rich in CI campus history, Island View Orientation tradition, and not one you will
want to miss!
