John Spoor Broome Library

Broome Library construction continues!

Construction of the John Spoor Broome Library—designed by London-based architect Norman Foster—has begun. Demolition is well underway and on schedule. The project should be completed within three years.
Please note that during construction, Parking Lots A6, A8 & A/E will be closed.

The John Spoor Broome Library, named for Mr. Broome, who donated $5 million for the new, state of the art facility, will be the eastern anchor of the main central campus mall. Foster's plans call for a two-story building with a glass façade that merges with the original Spanish-style design of CSU Channel Islands.
