
Planned activities are as follows for the week of 11/23/09:
This multi-faceted project will upgrade the old, unreliable infrastructure system and get the campus ready for future growth.
Central Plant: Contractors will continue with interior finishes and mechanical piping. Contractors will also begin the installation of the new steam lines and electrical lines behind Ironwood Hall.

Campus Underground: Ventura Street is closed from Los Angeles Avenue to the South side of Bell Tower West. New pavement has been moved up to 11/20/09 and the currently closed portion of Ventura Street will be opened during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Demolition is scheduled to begin on phase 6 on 11/23/09.

Bell Tower: All work in the Bell tower has been scheduled for off hour (night work) Contractors will continue installing Air Handlers and duct work.

The 24,920 sf building will include a large programmable area for student gatherings, food services, lounges, game room and student organization offices.

Exterior concrete stairs have been placed. Exterior site work continues including sidewalks in the courtyard and front of the building. Window installation is also ongoing in the existing building. Re-roofing of the existing building continues. Painting and ceramic tile installation is in progress. Food service and Group 2 equipment is being finalized and prepared for installation. The T-grid ceiling is being installed and light fixtures are being installed. Carpet upstairs in being installed preliminary to installation of movable wall partitions.
