Details and enrollment information

For first-year STEM* majors, especially first-generation students

The STEM Posses program helps students make the transition from high school (or no school) to studying STEM at CI. Trained STEM Mentors meet with Posses as a group and individually to offer assistance in identifying resources, advice, and mentoring. To request placement in a STEM Posse, please provide some basic information by clicking here.

For all students

El Dorado Hall is a great place to study, meet with a study group, etc. There are copious whiteboards, computers, and furniture that can be configured in a variety of ways. ELD is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mon. – Thurs. and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.

Even for faculty...

Feel free to schedule office hours, special events, review sessions and the like. No reservations are needed to meet students in the STEM Center, the multipurpose area, or the kitchen. To request a room, select El Dorado Hall in the CI Events Calendar reservation system.
