The National Weather Service has issued a "Severe" weather warning related to a major storm expected to impact Southern California beginning Thursday, December 11th and continuing through Friday, December 12th. Detailed information regarding the storm can be found on the National Weather Service.

We encourage the campus community to prepare for this event and other winter storms.  Listed below are tips and links that will help you and your family remain safe during extreme weather conditions. 

  • Be prepared!  It is not too late to gather basic supplies to have on-hand for a power failure.
  • Prepare your vehicle for winter weather.  Stock water and snacks in the event you are stuck in traffic or stranded.
  • Form a plan with your family, where will you meet if you cannot make it home?
