What if my transcript is not received within the timeline?

First, check your confirmation email from Parchment. It will include a tracking number. If you still have questions you can contact the Registrar’s Office for more information. Delays can be due to:

  • Incorrect information on the request
  • An international recipient
  • An increased volume of requests received at the beginning or end of the semester
  • COVID-19 remote processing of other agencies and universities

Has my transcript order been processed?

You can track your order online using your order number and the email address you used to place the order. Email updates are sent when:

  • Your order has been received
  • If additional information is needed
  • Your order has been printed

Will my transcripts show that I have finished my degree?

Degrees are typically awarded 8-10 weeks after grades have been finalized following the end of the semester. Check your myCI email first to see if you have received a degree completion notification. You can also review your unofficial transcript in the myCI Portal to determine if your degree is reflected. Once you have verified, you can request a transcript via Parchment.

How do I include an attachment with my order?

When you go to order there will be a link to include an attachment. If your attachment does not have fields that need to be completed by CI, attach and order. If CI needs to complete a section, email the attachment to registrar@csuci.edu before you order. We will complete the attachment and send it back to you so you can include it in your order. Please plan 6 business days ahead for our processing time.

How do I include a Transcript ID in my order to an eTranscript CAS location?

A pop up should appear where you can enter the Transcript ID if you have chosen an approved CAS location.

Can I order an eTranscript to my email, and forward it to multiple institutions?

Unfortunately, no. Each receiving institution needs their own copy. Protection on your copy of the eTranscript will prevent the institution from opening the document.
