Progress of Degree (POD) Information

In addition to the services already provided by Academic Advising, Faculty Advising, and the Records & Registration office, there are useful tools available for students to explore their progress towards a chosen degree. Use of the following tools, in collaboration with your academic advisor, may assist in planning the path to graduation.

Degree Progress Report

Degree Audit

A Degree Progress Report outlines general education, graduation, major and minor (if applicable) requirements.  It is student specific and will display requirements you have met and requirements you have not met using internal credit (CSUCI courses) and external credit (transfer and test credit). When you have not met a requirement, the report will list course options that will meet the requirement. To ensure timely graduation, always work with your academic advisor as this report is only a guide.

Course History

The Course History section of the Degree Progress Report outlines courses you have taken or are currently enrolled in at CSUCI. It is almost identical to your unofficial transcript.

External Credit

The External Credit section details the course credit you have received for each institution you attended prior to enrolling at CSUCI. It will specify each institution you received credit from, list the courses that transferred, and provide the CSUCI equivalent. The evaluation is considered preliminary until a graduation evaluator has reviewed it.

The How to View Your Degree Progress Reports (PDF, 76KB) document will guide you through the steps to access your reports.

If you feel that your Degree Progress Information is inaccurate, please complete the Degree Progress and Transfer Credit Discrepancy Resolution Request form (PDF, 25KB) and submit it to the Enrollment Center (Sage Hall, 1st floor) for processing. Please visit your Academic Advisor for guidance.
