The Student Health and Counseling Center does not provide health insurance. Students are strongly encouraged to have an insurance policy that will cover services beyond the scope of the SHCC.

Information on an insurance policy designed especially for students is available at the SHCC and at www.csuhealthlink.com. This insurance is administered by Wells Fargo and is provided through Anthem Blue Cross.

SHS participates in the Family PACT program. If you qualify, Family PACT will cover costs associated with Pap smears, STD testing and birth control methods for both men and women.

You can now purchase low cost individual health insurance as mandated by the Affordable Care Act. The marketplace for California is called "Covered California". Visit their web site for more information on available plans, requirements and how to sign up:
