Emergency ContraceptionBack to Services
Student Health Services (SHS) offers Emergency Contraception (EC also known as "Plan B" or the "morning after pill"). EC can be used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual relations.
While it is most effective if used within 72 hours, EC may still reduce the chance of pregnancy for up to five days after unprotected intercourse.
Prescriptions for EC are available at Student Health Services.
For more information visit the Emergency Contraception website.
Please visit Yuba Hall or call (805) 437-8828 for additional information.
