Channel Islands String Quartet Live Performance:  Tuesday, March 17

ENJOY. EAT. LISTEN. Bring your lunch and enjoy a performance by the Channel Islands String Quartet on Tuesday, March 17 at 12:00 noon in the Broome Library, room 1720 (area behind the children’s section). This event is FREE and open to students, faculty, staff, and the community.

Fourth Annual Children’s Reading Celebration & Young Authors Fair:  Saturday, April 4

On Saturday, April 4, the fourth annual Children’s Reading Celebration & Young Author’s Fair, featuring Dan Hanna, illustrator of The Pout Pout Fish, will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John Spoor Broome Library.

Children will have the opportunity to listen to storytellers, create their own books, participate in hands-on art projects and purchase books at the book fair. Most importantly, dozens of books created by young authors throughout Ventura County will be on display. This event is FREE and open to the public.
