Campus Tours

Individual and Family Tours

For the summer, individual and family tours are offered Monday through Friday at 11:00 AM.

Our daily campus tours for prospective students and their families are approximately an hour in duration. These are guided walking tours; we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Space is limited in each tour to 25 participants.

Tours begin promptly at the specified time in the Admissions & Recruitment Office located in Sage Hall, Room 1044.  Visitors may park in Parking Lot A2. Please obtain a parking permit from the Admissions & Recruitment representative upon check in.

Self Guided Tours

If you are unable to participate in a regularly scheduled tour, we are pleased to offer a self- guided tour.  A self-guided tour map may be picked up at the Admissions & Recruitment Office located in Sage Hall, Room 1044.

Group Campus Tours (grades 9- 12th & Community College)

The group campus tour is designed for high school and community college students interested in learning about CSU Channel Islands.  Participants are taken on a guided tour of the University and will learn about different campus resources such as Housing, Financial Aid, Academic Advisement, Student Life, and other departments designed to ensure student success.

Reservations

Reservations are on a first come first serve basis and must be made at least a month in advance.  Group campus tours are offered specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am- 10:00 am.  We can accommodate groups no larger than 60 students.
