Overview

Skype for Business (Lync) is a state-of-the-art communications tool that enables collaboration between colleagues. It allows users to securely instant message, voice and video call, hold online meetings, and share one’s desktop and programs in real time. Lync users can host and participate in live meetings and communicate directly from Outlook.

Using a computer, tablet, or mobile device, users will now be able to use the latest communication technology provided by Lync to connect and collaborate across buildings and campuses - avoiding the common frustrations associated with venue availability and travel time to off campus locations.
