University Outreach at California State University Channel Islands has been motivating and informing K-8 grade students about the steps to college since 2004. Primarily serving K-8 grade students and parents of under-represented and low-income communities through distinct college readiness programs, University Outreach seeks to create a university-going culture in Ventura County through free-of-charge campus visits, school site visits and community events.
