University Planning and Coordinating Council

About UPACC

UPACC was established by the President as the primary strategic planning group on campus.
UPACC makes recommendations to the President based on its analysis of the current and projected environment of the university. UPACC provides planning guidelines to other units in the university, gathers information and plans from these units, and synthesizes the strategic planning recommendations for the President. The flow of information and decision-making is depicted on the chart below.  UPACC makes its recommendations based on the priorities established by the President. UPACC meets on a monthly basis and includes a broad membership from the university – students, faculty, staff and administrators - and has a valued member of the community as a member.
