We Want You… out in the community!

CI will be hosting a booth at the annual Oxnard Tamale Festival being held at Downtown Plaza Park on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.  We are looking for students, staff or faculty to volunteer an hour or two at our CI booth providing promotional giveaways and student recruitment materials to festival attendees and help spread the word about our great University! Opportunities to participate in other upcoming festivals throughout Ventura County will also be available.

For more information contact Nancy Gill, Director of Communication & Marketing, at ext. 8456 or nancy.gill@csuci.edu.

Real-time document collaboration and sharing using CI Docs

In our effort to reduce paper and to improve collaboration, mobility and productivity, the Division of Technology & Communication is pleased to announce the launch of CI Docs.

Powered by Google Apps for Education, CI Docs enables CI students, faculty, staff and alumni to create and share documents, spreadsheets and presentations with members of the CI community, including colleagues and affiliates outside of the University. CI Docs provides anytime, anywhere viewing and editing of documents, and requires only a modern web browser (such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari). CI Docs can be viewed on most devices, including tablets and smartphones. All kinds of documents can be stored in CI Docs, although some restrictions apply.

To get started with CI Docs (or to learn more), please visit the CI Docs web site.
