2013 Flu Vaccine Clinics

Student Health Services (SHS) has flu vaccines available for all faculty, staff and currently enrolled students. Drop by the Bell Tower East Mission Lounge during the dates and times listed below to receive the vaccine. Students will receive the vaccine free of charge; for faculty and staff, the cost is $2 (exact change please). To view the full flyer, click here. (PDF, 711KB)

Wednesday, Oct. 9, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 10, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1:30– 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday Oct. 23, 1:30– 3:30 p.m.

Some people should not be vaccinated without first consulting a physician. They include:

  • People who have a severe allergy to chicken eggs
  • People who have had a severe reaction to an influenza vaccination in the past
  • People who developed Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) within 6 weeks of getting an influenza vaccine previously
  • Children less than 6 months of age
  • People who have a moderate or severe illness with a fever. They should wait to get vaccinated until their symptoms lessen
