Canvas is a web-based course management program that enables instructors to present course content and interact with their students via the Web.

CSUCI’s Canvas can be found at:

If you are new to CSUCI, your Canvas account will be created along with your Peoplesoft account. Once this has occurred, and you have registered for courses, your account will be activated in Canvas.

To login:

Username = your myCSUCI login (eg. pat.smith123)
Default Password = your 9 digit University ID Number.

This password will always be the same as the password your use to access your email, login to a computer on campus, or access the wireless network.

Canvas courses are created automatically using the Registrar’s data. If you do not see your courses appear, it may mean that your course instructor has not made the course available yet, or has chosen not to use Canvas for the course.
