Early Start will be online for students for Fall 2022. Students required to complete Early Start will receive notification via email.
CSU Channel Islands considers multiple assessments in determining what math course a student will take in the fall and whether Early Start is required over the summer (before they enter their freshman year).
You must enroll in both MATHES 90 and MATH 190 to complete the Early Start requirement. All courses will be available online at CSUCI, visit the CSU Success webpage for other course offerings: http://csustudentsuccess.org/earlystart_overview.
MATHES 90 - (1.0 Unit)
Review of basic algebra. Includes problem-solving and learning activities. For students needing to fulfill the Early Start Math requirement, and is supported by corequisite course MATH 190.
