Dear Prospective Sponsor:

California State University is hosting the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Educational Conference on April 3-4, 2014, at CSU Channel Islands (CI). We invite you to partner with us for this dynamic event by becoming a sponsor.

We ask that you review the Sponsorship Levels and join us with a donation as a sponsor. This is a great opportunity to showcase your organization with our anticipated audience of over 400 guests including college administrators, faculty, students, health providers, and local community leaders. In addition to recognition at the event, each sponsor level provides multiple opportunities for company visibility.

Net proceeds from last year’s event totaled over $20,000. Funds were allocated to support the conference’s highest priority needs such as speaker fees, building rental and AV costs, educational materials, participant transportation, and meal costs. The zero-based budget for this conference relies on donations to support the basic needs associated with the continuation of this conference to facilitate state-wide education on topics related to alcohol, drugs, and associated concerns for college students.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Forecasting the Future: Intervention Today, Prevention Tomorrow.” The focus of the 2014 conference will be on the vision for the future and thinking differently for the new student era. This year’s conference will feature various keynote speakers, activities and workshops. For additional information on conference registration and details, visit our website at:

Given minimal state supported funding, your private donation is critical and will help provide the margin of excellence necessary to implement our collective vision for the success of the 2014 Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) conference. By working together, we can educate and train our future industry and community leaders.

Please consider the available sponsorship opportunities by reviewing the sponsorship levels and make your tax-deductible donation today by completing the online donation form.

If you have any questions regarding the sponsorships for the ATOD conference, please contact Dr. Amanda Carpenter at or 805-437-3565.

Thank you in advance for your support and partnership.
