The program in Mexico is currently suspended due to a U.S. State Department Travel Warning. This suspension will be reviewed with the hope of being able to send students to Mexico next year, where we know they can gain a deeper understanding of the culture, history and language. We welcome the applications of interested and qualified students.

Requirements

  • 2.75 GPA
  • The Spanish & Culture Program and The Study in English Program: Sophomore or higher standing by the end of spring term prior to departure. Successful completion of at least one course in Spanish language by the end of spring term prior to departure.
  • The Advanced Program and La Meta Program: Upper division or graduate standing by the end of spring term prior to departure. Completion of all lower division coursework in the major. Completion of two years of college-level Spanish (through intermediate Spanish) or equivalent by the end of spring term prior to departure.
  • Completion of all lower division requirements
  • Completion of 60 or more units of courses
