TITLE: Legal Check-In and Personal Stories

Attorney Vanessa Frank will give a legal update on the status of DACA and immigration policy. She will also explain the importance of creating emergency family plans, as well as how individuals can be allies to undocumented immigrants during this time with some practical ideas. The audience will have the ability to ask questions.
Martha Zavala Perez, Special Consultant to the VPSA, will share her own immigration story including details about her experience as a DACA student at Moorpark College, CSU Channel Islands and Pepperdine. 
This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff at CSU Channel Islands.
